Curated Ceramic Collections

Made by hand, shaped by place.

Ceramics hold a timeless quality. Each vessel carries the record of the hand that made it; the pull of the wheel, the pooling of a glaze, the small asymmetries that machine production can never counterfeit. We bring together our own Calgary studio work with pieces from three South African makers we admire.

What unites them is restraint: honest form, considered glaze, and a respect for the clay itself. Collected together or lived with one at a time, they are made to be used.

SERF&TONIA

Our own studio line, thrown in Calgary. Stoneware in soft, natural glazes that are made to sit as easily on a working table as a considered one.

Mervyn Gers

From Cape Town, hand-glazed tableware known worldwide for its depth of colour and generous, tactile forms. Each piece is dipped and finished by hand in their studio and is commercial dishwasher-safe.

Nammu

Nammu’s pieces embody the admiration for material research, ancient methods, rituals and mythology.
